Kyle Dempsey has left Huddersfield to sign for League One outfit Fleetwood Town.
The 21-year-old joins the Cod Army for an undisclosed fee following a successful loan spell with Uwe Rosler's men.
His performances resulted in him being named the Club’s ‘Young Player of the Year’ in its annual awards.
Demspey joined the Terriers from Carlisle United in July 2015 and went on to make 24 appearances scoring once.
Speaking to the club's website, Head Coach David Wagner said:
“I believe this transfer is the correct one for Huddersfield Town, Fleetwood Town and importantly for Kyle’s career.
“He has done very well during his loan spell and is a player with talent, but he needs and wants to play regularly at this stage of his career and this is not something we can offer him at Huddersfield Town.
“Kyle worked very hard in every single training session during his time with us and I wish him good luck in his career with Fleetwood.”
