Hull FC 0-45 St Helens - Holbrook happy thrashing Hull

20th May 2017

Justin Holbrook was in attendance at St James' Park as St Helens did a demolition job over Hull FC who were not at the races in Newcastle.

Alex Walmsley opened up the scoring from close range, Ryan Morgan met a high kick to further cement the Saints great start before Morgan Knowles got the third try of the afternoon following a Hull FC mistake. Matty Smith added to the Airlie Bird misery before the half-time-hooter slotting over a drop-goal that our commentator Craig Murdock said 'should have been seen from miles away by Hull'.

The second half started well again for the Saints with Alex Walmsley getting his second before Louie McCarthy-Scarsbrook and Tommy Makinson adding onto the score sheet before one of the young rising stars in Super League, Regan Grace got a double.

Depsite winning their last five games Hull FC were poor up at the Magic Weekend in Newcastle whilst St Helens, clearly bouyed by their new head coach watching ran riot. Justin Holbrook will have much to be pleased about as a new period starts at the Saints.
