Klich: I 'did not have a good relationship' with Christiansen
FC Utrecht midfielder Mateusz Klich has stated that he 'did not have a good relationship' with former Leeds United Head Coach Thomas Christiansen.
The 27-year-old is spending the remainder of the season on-loan at the Dutch outfit following his January move from the Whites.
The midfielder has gone onto make three appearances in the Eredivisie so far.
Speaking to destentor.nl, Klich said "of the matches I have played, I know that I can handle the level of the Championship"
"I did not have a good relationship with the coach, Thomas Christiansen.
"He happened to be fired this week after the defeat against Cardiff. What has happened between us? I do not want to go into details too much.
"It's only frustrating when you know you can handle the level, but do not get a chance to show it."
Christiansen has since departed the club following his sacking after the 4-1 defeat to Cardiff City at Elland Road.
He was replaced by Barnsley boss Paul Heckingbottom, who started life in West Yorkshire with a 2-1 loss to Sheffield United on Saturday.
Utrecht currently sit 6th in the Eredivisie standings.
