KP "had enough" of cricket
Kevin Pietersen says he'd "had enough" of playing professional cricket - so it's time to "hang up the boots".
The former England captain announced his retirement at the weekend on Twitter.
Pietersen's been playing as a T20 specialist - but told Good Morning Britain fielding for 20 overs had begun to feel like a Test match.
He steps away from the game as England's second-highest run scorer ever across all three formats of the game.
Just been told that I scored 30000+ runs which included 152 fifty’s & 68 hundreds in my professional career.— Kevin Pietersen (@KP24) March 17, 2018
