Leeds looking to push permanent deal for Benfica striker
Leeds United are pushing for a permanent deal for Benfica striker Oliver Sarkic.
The 20-year-old is currently at Leeds United on a half-season loan from the Portuguese side, with his time at the club set to conclude this month.
Sarkic has been a regular part of Carlos Corberan's under-23s team and Leeds are eager to keep hold of the player.
The forward has scored five goals for Leeds' youth side this season, including one in the Whites' 4-3 victory over Hull City at Thorp Arch.
The Montenegro international started his career at Anderlecht in Belgium, before moving onto Benfica in 2014.
Sarkic scored three goals in six games in the UEFA Youth League during his time at Benfica alongside scoring seven goals in the Ledman Liga Pro, a league in which Benfica's B side play.
