Leeds United have announed their ninth summer signing ahead of the 2017/18 season Ezgjan Alioski.
The 25-year-old attacker makes the move from Swiss outfit FC Lugano for an undisclosed fee. Alioski has signed a four year contract with the Whites, running until the end of the 2020/21 season.
After coming through the ranks at Young Boys, Alioski moved to fellow Swiss side FC Schaffhausen in 2013.
He spent three years with Schaffhausen, before joining FC Lugano, initially on loan, in January 2016, before that move was made permanent.
Last season, in his first full campaign with Lugano, Alioski made 36 appearances, scored 17 goals and provided 14 assists.
He finished as Lugano’s top goal scorer during the campaign and third overall in the Swiss Super League.
Alioski will now link up with the squad for the Whites’ pre-season tour of Austria and could make his debut in Sunday’s friendly with FC Ingolstadt.
