Leeds United interested in City midfielder - reports
Leeds United have been linked with a January move for Bristol City midfielder Josh Brownhill, according to reports.
The 21-year-old is out of contract in the summer, with Premier League sides Bournemouth, Leicester, Burnley and Newcastle all reportedly interested alongside Championship rivals Derby County.
Brownhill has established himself as a regular in the Bristol City side that currently sits 3rd in the Sky Bet Championship table, featuring in 19 Championship games.
The midfielder has contributed with three goals and one assist in those 19 games.
The Robins reportedly have an option for an extra 12-months on his current deal with the club, but may look to strike a new deal as interest grows.
Primarily playing as a central midfielder, Brownhill has previous experience playing in the defensive midfield and attacking midfield roles.
Alongside Brownhill, Leeds are rumoured to be considering a move for Bolton midfielder Josh Vela when the January transfer window opens.
The 23-year-old currently has 18 months remaining on his deal at Wanderers, with Leeds one of four clubs to be linked with a possible move.
