QPR striker ruled out of Leeds clash through suspension
Queens Park Rangers striker Jamie Mackie will miss Saturday's clash with Leeds United after being sent off in the 1-0 defeat to Preston North End.
Mackie was shown a straight red card for a late challenge on North End captain Tom Clarke, which means he faces a three-game ban.
As a result, the forward will miss QPR's upcoming fixtures with Leeds, Birmingham City and Bristol City.
Mackie has found the net four times this season, last scoring in the 2-1 defeat to Aston Villa in November. He currently sits second in The R's scoring chart for the 2017/18 campaign, one goal behind former Whites striker Matt Smith.
Also unavailable for selection is defender Alex Baptiste. He received a second yellow card from referee Jeremy Simpson after the final whistle at Deepdale for dissent.
