Rhinos | Ormondroyd on injury and life as a professional
Leeds Rhinos forward Jack Ormondroyd has updated us on his injury status. The 24-year-old is currently out with a torn MCL, an injury which could keep him on the sidelines for 4-6 weeks.
It's come early in his Rhinos career, having joined from Featherstone Rovers, and going from part-time to full-time professional in the process, and he's told us about that change in status.
"It's completely different. Six months ago I was working 9 to 5 then training at night, it's opened my eyes to what it's like and it's maybe me want to do it for as long as I can."
"Last year was my first full season at Featherstone, so to be able to sign for a big club like Leeds was a bit of a shock. Hopefully I can kick on here and keep improving."
